Management Trainee Program Parkson's objective is to develop managers who are people and service oriented. Our Early Development Program is a 12-month program that would provide the opportunity for FANTASTIC individuals to be trained to acquire and fully develop the skills required in our retail operations. If you are a high flyer, the following 6 months will be dedicated to helping you reach your target role of a managerial position. The training program is as follows: Store Operations Familiarization 40 weeks Head Office Familiarization 12 weeks Store Operations / Head Office Intensive 24 weeks Monthly assessments by Senior Store Managers Quarterly assessments by Operations Manager, Senior Store Managers & HR Manager. Participating stores are at: KLCC Pavilion Bandar Utama Sunway Pyramid Gurney Plaza Upon completion, the management trainee should have the following criteria: Critical Skills for managing people such as communication skills, leadership skills, creative thinking, coaching and listening. Essentials Skills to be in line for Managerial positions such as speaking & writing skills, Microsoft Office, interpreting reports, analyzing & evaluating, and problem solving & decision making. A thorough understanding of all SOPs in the store that includes day to day operations of a store, merchandising, store planning, advertising & promotions, visual merchandising, financial aspects of operating, information technology and also human resource exposure. Our Management Trainee Program is only the beginning of your successful career in Parkson.
