LION-PARKSON FOUNDATION DONATES RM50,000 TO YAYASAN KEBAJIKAN NEGARA MALAYSIA

Kuala Lumpur, 28 March 2019 – Lion-Parkson Foundation (LPF) donated RM50,000 to Yayasan Kebajikan Negara Malaysia (YKNM) to assist the Yayasan in its charitable work in health (medical), welfare, education, voluntary bodies, and natural disasters amongst others, recently.

At the presentation ceremony held on 15 March 2019, LPF Chairman, Puan Sri Chelsia Cheng presented the donation of RM50,000 to Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Board of YKNM, YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Dr. Wan Ismail, witnessed by YKNM Trustees and CEO of YKNM, YBhg Datin Paduka Che Asmah Ibrahim.

LPF was launched in 1990 to administer and disburse funds for various needs such as education, charity and scientific research. It is governed by a Board of Trustees comprising Puan Sri Chelsia Cheng, Datuk CS Tang, Dr Yulduz Emiloglu, and Dr Chua Siew Kiat. Todate, it has disbursed a total contribution of RM38.3 million which includes scholarships and educational loan for undergraduates and construction of the Home for Handicapped & Mentally Disabled Children in Banting.
